  15.     updated version of our popular program will make your
  16.     handicapping even easier and more accurate.

  19.            using your CURSOR keys, PgUp and PgDn. Hit F1 for help.

  25.     We'd like to remind you that this is a Shareware, or User-
  26.     Supported program. If you like it and use it, we ask that
  27.     register the program. Registered owners will receive an ENHANCED
  28.     version of the program with even more features to make your
  29.     handicpping time more productive. Be sure to read the manual for
  30.     information about our Enhanced handicapping programs. You can
  31.     fill in an on-line registration form while you're running the
  32.     program, use the printed form at the end of the manual, or call
  33.     our Toll-Free Order Line: 1-800-846-4319.

  35.     Before you start handicapping, please make a copy of your
  36.     original disk and work from the copy. Put the original in a safe
  37.     place.
  38.  
  39.     It's also a good idea to print the manual before you start. To
  40.     print the manual, make sure your printer is on line. If you're
  41.     using a dot matrix printer, make sure the print head is at the
  42.     very top of a page. Then type PRINTME and hit ENTER. The manual
  43.     will be sent to your printer. It is completely formatted and
  44.     requires 33 sheets of paper.
  45.  
  46.     Please read the installation instructions on Page 5. They'll tell
  47.     you how to get the program up and running on a floppy or hard
  48.     drive system.
  49.  
  50.     If you downloaded the program from a bulletin board or received
  51.     it in an archived format (most likely a ZIP file), all you have
  52.     to do is create a directory on your hard disk for the program and
  53.     UnZip it there.

  60.     If you received the program on a disk with standard file formats,
  61.     here's a quick installation guide for setting the program up on
  62.     your hard drive or a floppy.

  64.     Hard Disk Installation (Drive C)

  66.        1.  Put the Handicapper disk in Drive A:
  67.  
  68.        2.  Type A: and hit ENTER.
  69.  
  70.        3.  Type HINSTALL C: and hit ENTER.
  71.  
  72.        4.  The program will be installed on your hard disk in a
  73.            directory called C:\T44.
  74.  
  75.     Floppy Disk Installation (Drive B)

  77.        1.  Put the Handicapper Disk in Drive A:

  79.        2.  Put a Formatted floppy in Drive B:

  81.        3.  Type A: and hit ENTER.

  83.        4.  The Program (without the manual) will be installed on
  84.            Drive B:

  86.     Running the Program

  88.     To run the Thoroughbred program, switch to the drive or directory
  89.     containing the program. Then type T44 and hit ENTER.

  91.     Please do not run any of the EXE files directly or they won't
  92.     work properly. Use T44.BAT to launch the program.
